Driving Dynamics, a leader in the field of advanced performance driver safety training and fleet risk management services, is a Gold Sponsor for the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) annual Strength in Numbers Fleet Safety Benchmark Conference.

Experts consider the annual conference one of the biggest of the year for fleet safety and risk management. The conference focuses on the latest approaches to road safety. It brings together NETS members from different industries, representing more than a half million vehicles from around the world that travel 11 billion miles annually.

“We’re excited to be a Gold Sponsor for the NETS conference. It’s an important event each year that gives people from around the globe the chance to share best practices for fleet safety training,” said Art Liggio, CEO and President of Driving Dynamics. “This year, we’re partnering with one of our clients, AstraZeneca, to talk about our collaboration that improved driver performance and fleet safety.”

Wheels, the fleet management partner for AstraZeneca, will participate in the presentation where they and Driving Dynamics will discuss the evolving safety culture needed for the modern fleet.

The presenters will be focus on best-in-class safety programs including traditional and forward-thinking components, the success AstraZeneca’s has achieved in reducing vehicle crashes, and details regarding the safety programs AstraZeneca uses to accomplish these reductions.

As a Gold Partner, Driving Dynamics will also be available for a 20-minute Sponsor Day session on Wednesday the 20th where attendees can get valuable insight into the six personality dimensions linked to unsafe driving practices and talk with Driving Dynamics team members about how they can help your drivers improve safety performance behind the wheel.
The conference, which is virtual for 2021, is scheduled for Oct. 19-20.

The Conference Attracts Top Government Officials, Industry Representatives

NETS is an employer-led public/private partnership that focuses its efforts on preventing traffic crashes both on and off the job. At the annual conference, participants get the opportunity to review the NETS annual STRENGTH IN NUMBERS® Fleet Safety Benchmark Report.

NETS Executive Director Susan Gillies will present the findings on the opening day of the conference. The report gives fleet safety leaders and other company leaders a chance to compare leading road safety programs, analyze results and see how their own programs compare. The conference attracts:

  • Fleet safety leaders
  • Risk management associates
  • Fleet procurement professionals
  • C-Suite business leaders and decision makers

Conference attendees also share road safety cases studies, new research and emerging issues in the fleet safety field. The Driving Dynamics presentation is part of the effort to share best practices that have proven successful with large fleets.
