Driving Dynamics, a leading provider of driver safety training, recently earned an APEX Award of Excellence for the company’s newsletter, Driver Safety News. The newsletter, which has more than 10,000 subscribers, features relevant and timely information about issues impacting driver safety.
This year marked the 33rd edition of the annual APEX Awards, which recognizes the best work each year from publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, internet, electronic and social media. Businesses, nonprofits, agencies and freelancers are all eligible to enter the competition.
The APEX Awards attracts entries from organizations around the world, including NASA, the American Heart Association, AARP, National Healthcare Group Singapore, the University of Glasgow, Duke University, the American Public Transportation Association, Vanguard and many more.
Driving Dynamics earned the APEX Award of Excellence in the “Newsletters - Electronic and Email” category.
“We’re very proud of this award and the newsletter. It’s satisfying to get recognition for something we use to communicate timely, relevant information commercial fleets can put to use,” said Arthur Liggio, President and CEO of Driving Dynamics. “I believe everyone who works at Driving Dynamics deserves credit for this achievement. Our reputation for delivering the highest quality training services and subject matter expertise is the reason why, year after year, our position continues to remain so strong in the industry.”
A Focus on Fleet Safety
Driving Dynamics recently updated the newsletter, changing the name from The Driver Advantage to Driver Safety News. The name change reflects Driving Dynamics’ focus on providing thought leadership on topics related to commercial fleet safety, risk management and driver safety.
With 30 years of experience, Driving Dynamics leverages cutting-edge technology and data analytics to provide clients with driving safety training, coaching and fleet risk management services.
Driver Safety News offers information in these areas, including the latest safe driving trips in a wide variety of situation ranging from cruising the highway in large vehicles to expertly navigating a parking lot. It also offers links to videos and interesting reads for those in the fleet industry.
The APEX Award of Excellence marks the latest in a series of awards for Driving Dynamics. In December 2020, Liggio received the honor of induction into the Fleet Hall of Fame, which recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the fleet management industry.
Also in 2020, Training Industry Inc. named Driving Dynamics to a list of the Top 20 health and safety compliance training companies.
