Santa’s sleigh ride is famous for sure,
But this year there are twists and turns that offer much more.
The start we all know, but with new chapters and pages,
So, buckle up for a safe driving tale made for the ages…

‘Twas the night before Christmas as Santa prepared for his flight.
When out of nowhere the elves bounded in with a look of panic and fright.
Santa, they said, “While on a test drive the sleigh got stuck in a tree!”
But Santa smiled calmly, and even chuckled with glee.

He explained to the elves, all will be okay
“We’ll get the sleigh down to ride another day.”
This year, he said, “I know just what to do!”
“Charge up my shiny new electric car,
it will take us around the world; it will take us far.”

This is a chance for the deer to get some much-needed rest
As for me and the elves, Santa explained, “we must be our best.”

So, Driving Dynamics he called to learn all they needed to know,
Named a top-20 safety training provider, five years in a row!
Santa and the elves first took the class called DriveReady
It was the right place to start to drive safe, sure, and steady.

Keep two hands on the wheel, at nine and three.
The instructor explained,
You’ll have better control, just wait, and see!
To avoid road rage and rear-end collisions,
Maintain your safety zone and make good decisions!

By practicing proper looking, steering, and braking skills,
Your trip will go smoothly, without any spills.
Don't tailgate, don't speed, keep your eyes on the road.
Be careful because those gifts add quite the load!

This EV is fancy, equipped with the latest advanced driver tech,
You must know these systems if you don’t want to wreck
So, Santa and elves learned all about lane assist,
rear-view cameras and blind spot warning,
Now they knew what they needed to safely return in the morning.

Then to make sure, the instructor added just a bit more…
Look out for obstacles, bad drivers and even reindeer,
You must always ensure your pathway is clear.
When driving in winter, clear the snow from windows and lights,
From the hood and roof too, so as not to impede sight.
Pay attention to road signs and follow all traffic patterns,
You want to keep everyone safe, that’s all that matters!

To understand his own driving dimensions prior to leaving,
Santa completed the DrivActiv iQuotient™ risk assessment,
And eagerly awaited the results he’d be receiving!

And little did Santa know that the top elf in his crew,
Was a certified Driving Dynamics coach
Who could help him out too!
So he guided Santa and the other elves through DriveInsight
To make sure their driving behaviors and habits were good, sharp, and right.

Now with proper training and coaching skills in their heads
Santa was pleased the team had listened to all that Driving Dynamics had said.
And before heading out the elves checked out the new ride,
They looked over and under and around every side.

With the car fully charged and ready to go
Santa loaded the gifts and pulled out into the snow.
Carefully down the road he drove on a bright star filled night,
Santa in his first electric-powered car, oh what a sight!
