Teen Programs

Young drivers are high-risk drivers. It's not their fault; they simply have not had the training or experience to be able to recognize and avoid dangerous situations on the road. That's why young drivers are twice as likely to have accidents as the rest of us. In our Teen-Age Programs we show drivers how to anticipate and stay out of danger. They also learn how to deal with a dangerous situation if it does arise. Young drivers love our programs. They have fun, they participate and their driving improves dramatically.

90 % of all accidents could be avoided if the driver had an extra second to react. We give our students that extra second and show them what to do with it. Our one-day course takes about eight hours. There are three short classroom sessions; the rest of the time is hands-on in the cars. Students take the course in their own cars, enabling them to "know their equipment". Early in the day, we teach the basics - eye technique, braking and cornering. Then we go into more advanced and challenging car control and accident avoidance exercises.

The driving exercises are done in large open areas, secluded from other traffic, where we can simulate many situations in complete safety. Students learn to control a skid in the Driving DYNAMICS Patented "Controlled-Slide Car", in which the instructor can create realistic skids and slides at low speeds on any surface. The drivers are constantly challenged; they have fun, and they end the day with a feeling of genuine accomplishment.

Why should you send your teen-ager to Driving DYNAMICS?

Here are some reasons:

  • The number one cause of accidents with teenagers, is single car loss of control type accidents.
  • Last year there were almost 6,000 teen-age deaths due to motor vehicles.
  • There were over 2 1/2 million accidents involving teen-agers, resulting in more than 190,000 disabling injuries.
  • Alcohol and drugs are a major cause, but the largest cause of teen-age accidents is inexperience.

Comments from our teen-age clients:

  • "This course should be required before a person is allowed to drive on a public road."
  • "Every member of your staff is caring and knowledgeable."
  • "It's been a week since I took the course, but I'm still smiling."
  • "It scares me to think how much most drivers never know, and how many accidents could be prevented if more people took the course".
  • From a grateful parent - "Safety devices and insurance will never be a substitute for skill. Thanks."

Cost for one-day course is $425.00
